Terms and Conditions of hire

The person hiring the Hall must be over 18 years of age and a responsible person not less than 18 years of age must be present in the hall throughout the hiring period.

Smoking is prohibited in all parts of the hall; it is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that everyone abides by this rule.

Alcohol of any kind is not permitted in the Hall without prior discussion with the Trustees.

Respect should be shown to the neighbors of the hall including, but not limited to, ensuring that there is no excessive noise from activities inside or in the area around the hall.

All floors must be swept and washed where necessary after using the hall, and all rubbish must be disposed of according to the guidelines in the hall.

The Trustees should be informed of any damage to the hall's equipment or construction.

Any malfunction of any equipment should be reported.
Use of Tools

Thumb pins, nails etc. should not be used to place decorations etc.

Chairs and tables must be returned to their proper places and stacked neatly

It must be ensured that everything and every part of the Hall used is left in a clean condition

Any electrical equipment entering the hall must be subject to a current PAT test report. ï‚·
Security

The hall is insured for a maximum of 100 people

Hirers should familiarize themselves with the hall, especially the emergency exits and the location and operation of the fire extinguishers.

Fire exits should always be kept clear.

All children visiting the hall must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Responsibilities and Obligations

It is the responsibility of hirers to ensure that they have appropriate and sufficient insurance in relation to their activities while they are on site

The Trustees of the hall do not accept any liability for injury suffered or loss or damage caused as a result of hiring the hall, the surrounding grounds or the car park or from misuse of any equipment in the hall.

The Trustees of the hall do not accept any liability for loss or damage arising from its cancellation or termination of hire for whatever reason.

The hirers should familiarize themselves with the Safeguarding policies and the Hall's Equal Opportunity Statement.
Note: Llangristiolus Hall reserves the right to cancel the booking in the event of a double booking, either due to an administrative error or if another booking has been made in person before confirmation.
